RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Architect specializing in SAP in Downtown Houston, TX. The candidate must have experience working on an SAP S/4Hana Migration. This candidate will be the SME Architect, working from the ground up on an S/4Hana migration and must have successfully completed one before. This role is onsite 4 days/week with ability to work remote on Fridays if project allows.

Summary:
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining the enterprise architecture vision, guiding principles, standards, target reference architecture models, and the enterprise technology roadmap. This role connects business and technology architecture by creating and maintaining technical capability maps.

Essential Functions:
* Assess current IT systems and services, research new technologies, and create IT architecture blueprints to help the business and IT achieve their desired outcomes
* Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework that incorporates cloud solutions, applications, data, and security, with an emphasis on the insurance business processes
* Lead architectural reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, governance standards, and enterprise policies
* Maintain high-level reference models including the functional architecture, conceptual data architecture, application architecture and the infrastructure strategy
* Establish and execute architecture management processes including the governance structure (e.g. Architecture Review Board) and processes
* Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices
* Identify areas for improvement in the current systems architecture such as areas of redundancy and develop comprehensive plans to incorporate suggestions into the technology roadmap
* Serve as a bridge between Domain, Platform, and Solution Architects to ensure all parties are well versed in the defined enterprise architecture strategy, standards, policies, guidelines, and design principles

REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university
* Must be certified in TOGAF standards and approach with hands-on experience
* Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in an enterprise architecture role
* Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools (e.g., LeanIX, iServer, etc.)
* Must have extensive expertise in enterprise architecture best practices, guiding principles, governance and standards
* Must be familiar with cloud platforms and aware of strengths and weaknesses of different cloud solution designs
* Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple functions (e.g., data, infrastructure, security, applications, etc.)
* Must be able to work closely with multiple stakeholders from SVP level down across various business platforms
* Ability to evaluate current situation, foresee obstacles and recommend solutions to move forward with migration a must

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
