Location: Remote (Must support Pacific Time Zone)

Travel Requirement: Must be available to travel to Los Angeles for a client kickoff meeting on June 23 24

Employment Type: Contract

Start Date: Immediate

Interview Rounds: Internal + Client; No coding questions in initial round

Education Required: Associate's or Bachelor's in Finance, MIS, Computer Science, or related field

Position Summary:

Client is seeking a Workday Financials Lead Consultant to join a dynamic deployment and optimization project. This role will support both implementation and post-go-live enhancement efforts, offering the opportunity to lead advisory, configuration, and customer engagement activities across core Workday Financials modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate client requirements into Workday Financial best practices and configurations
  • Lead configuration, testing, deployment, and enhancement activities for Workday Financials
  • Conduct advisory sessions and lead design workshops with client teams
  • Support production clients through optimization and enhancement initiatives
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Guide clients through end-to-end Workday testing processes
  • Participate in pre-sales and go-to-market (GTM) Workday financial engagements
  • Act as a product lead within the Workday ecosystem at UST

Must-Have Skills:

  • Active Workday Financials Certification (or Pro-certification)
  • Minimum 4+ years of direct Workday Financials experience
  • Completed 2+ full-cycle Workday Financial deployments
  • Expertise in configuring:
    • FDM (Foundational Data Model)
    • Accounts Payable / Receivable
    • Supplier and Customer Accounts
    • Revenue Management
    • Projects
  • Familiarity with Workday Financial integrations and related API touchpoints (functional understanding)
  • Experience in leading customer confirmation sessions and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Strong client relationship management and satisfaction mindset

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Accounting Center
  • Exposure to Financial reporting and records-to-report processes
