Key Responsibilities of an IT Technician
Hardware and Software Installation & Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems.
Set up and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related devices.
Perform routine maintenance, including software updates and hardware upgrades.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Provide technical support to end-users via in-person, phone, or remote assistance.
Document technical problems and track resolutions for future reference.
Network and System Management:
Assist with the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of local area networks (LAN).
Support system performance, connectivity, and access control.
