Job Title: PeopleSoft Developer / Automation Engineer Higher Education
Location: Remote Job Type: 12 months+
Job description:
The PeopleSoft Developer / Automation Engineer will develop, maintain, and automate PeopleSoft applications and processes while closely following documented requirements provided by the PM/BA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement custom PeopleSoft solutions based on functional specifications and workflows documented by the PM/BA.
- Develop automation for routine administrative tasks, approvals, and data management processes.
- Integrate PeopleSoft with other campus systems using APIs, web services, and integration tools.
- Participate in PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and module implementations while following requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with the PM/BA and Systems Architect to ensure all solutions meet design specifications and traceability requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues, document code changes, and maintain version control aligned with institutional policies.
Qualifications:
- 3 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience in higher education.
- Proficiency in PeopleTools, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, and Integration Broker.
- Experience with automation, scripting (Python, JavaScript), and workflow solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills with PM/BA and Systems Architect for requirements alignment.
- Knowledge of cloud-based PeopleSoft solutions and higher education processes preferred.
