Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our dynamic data engineering team within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud data solutions on the Snowflake platform. This role is remote with occasional travel to client locations and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions on the Snowflake cloud platform.

  • Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.

  • Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and performance.

  • Collaborate with business and analytics teams to design efficient data models supporting reporting and analytics needs.

  • Optimize Snowflake resources for performance and cost efficiency.

  • Work with cross-functional teams in the banking/financial services domain to ensure compliance and data governance best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10 years of overall Data Engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake.

  • Strong experience with SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, dbt, Airflow, etc.).

  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, cloud architectures, and performance tuning in Snowflake.

  • Prior experience working in Banking or Financial Services domain is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
