A growing CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This firm values a supportive workplace culture, professional growth, and strong client relationships. With diverse clients across industries such as real estate, construction, financial services, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurial services, the firm provides tax, assurance, and consulting services while fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Review federal and state tax returns
- Conduct research and stay current on federal, local, and international tax issues
- Review quarterly and annual tax projections
- Contribute to special projects as needed
- Lead staff training and professional development
- Manage client relationships and support practice development activities
Skills & Qualifications:
- CPA, EA, or CPA-eligible
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience, including 2 years reviewing tax returns
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Professional, collaborative, and client-focused approach
- Ability to mentor staff and contribute to firm growth
- Industry expertise in real estate, construction, financial services, high-net-worth individuals, or entrepreneurial services is a plus
- Team-oriented, with professional humility and the ability to give/receive feedback (a good sense of humor is valued!)
