• The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:
  
  
  
  • Master or PhD candidate with 1-3 years of experience in power electronics, communication, and hardware implementations.
  
  
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other related degree; especially with a focus on edge computing.
  
  
  • Previous research related to communication and data protocols such as modbus, DNP3, RS485, CAN, MQTT, Kafka, IEEE 61850, WIFI, Cellular, WAN/LAN, AWS, cloud-edge communication, etc.
  
  
  • Expert knowledge of distribution power flow analytics, nature of electrical loads is preferred.
  
  
  • Proficiency in Python is a must.
  
  
  • Familiar with popular database software, i.e. Postgres etc. is preferred.
