Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP RDP Consultant with extensive experience implementing and supporting SAP Responsible Design and Production solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise across plastics and packaging sustainability, environmental and tax compliance, and SAP PLM integration, along with strong skills in data cleanup and migration.
This role will be pivotal in enabling regulatory compliance and advancing sustainable product design within a global enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP RDP solutions, aligning with sustainability and compliance requirements.
- Provide expertise on plastic taxes, extended producer responsibility (EPR), and related environmental compliance frameworks.
- Integrate RDP with SAP PLM and other core SAP modules to enable end-to-end product lifecycle transparency.
- Manage data cleanup, classification, and migration to support accurate reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance, tax, and sustainability teams to design and implement compliant processes.
- Conduct system configuration, testing, and validation for RDP solutions.
- Deliver user training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing system support.
- Act as a subject matter expert in sustainable packaging, materials, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on Responsible Design and Production (RDP).
- In-depth knowledge of plastics and packaging sustainability regulations and environmental taxes.
- Proven expertise in SAP PLM integration and product lifecycle compliance.
- Hands-on experience with data cleanup, migration, and harmonization within SAP.
- Strong understanding of UK/EU sustainability legislation (e.g., plastics tax, EPR, circular economy).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
- Based in the UK or available for UK onsite work.
