Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Job Type: W2 Contract - 12 months
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $ 25 - 27 / hour
Position Overview:
We're looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support rebranding efforts by managing product transitions, updating materials data, and keeping inventory and production on track. This role is key to reducing waste, supporting production timelines, and ensuring a smooth supply chain during changes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Update BOMs: Make timely changes to Bills of Material to reflect rebranding updates across product lines.
  • Plan Product Transitions (PIPO): Create and manage plans to smoothly phase in new products and phase out old ones while minimizing production disruptions.
  • Reduce Scrap: Lead efforts to minimize waste during product transitions and track progress.
  • Support Production & Procurement: Help schedule production and manage raw material orders to avoid delays.
  • Manage Inventory: Adjust inventory levels based on rebranding plans and changing business needs.
  • Analyze & Report: Use data to provide insights on inventory, service levels, scrap, and capacity to guide decision-making.
  • Improve Processes: Lead or support projects that make supply chain and production transitions more efficient.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (required).
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years in manufacturing or supply chain roles.
    • Experience with BOM updates and managing product changes.
    • Strong ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • APICS CPIM or CSCP (or willingness to obtain).
