MUST HAVE MANUFACTING IT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
IT Manager
Onsite in Bloomington
Salary Range: $120-$150k

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Information Technology (IT) Manager is the highest IT role in the organization and responsible for the coordinated execution of all aspects of information technology including but not limited to hardware, software, networking, and cyber security at the company. The execution also includes coordination of multiple vendors including a managed services provider and one internal team member, this is a hands-on role and should be comfortable performing high level strategy and also being willing to provide desktop support.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Prioritizes and schedules new projects, manage daily operations, and ensure timely support service
- Ensures support is delivered to onsite facilities in Minnesota, remote office in Florida, and remote sales staff
- Installs and maintains hardware, software, peripherals, and communication links
- Provides organizational project support and manages departmental technology projects
- Develops and upholds policies, standards, and procedures related to system use, including creating instructional manuals to ensure effective system use and data security
- Creates annual technology plans, conducts research, evaluates and recommends technology solutions, drafts business proposals, and drafts capital and maintenance budgets for systems
- Oversee and maintain all security programs, monitor potential threats, and advise management accordingly
- Provide technical support to users, oversee backup and security systems, and ensure effective communication with users, vendors, technicians, and managers to assess computing needs
- Develop reporting processes to track and monitor performance, prepare and deliver operational or project progress reports, and manage operational budgets and expenditures
- Systems managed include but are not limited to: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, ERP System, Shipping System, and IT ticketing system
- Manages company IT training, ensuring completion of companywide mandatory courses and offering additional trainings as needed
- Creates, runs, modifies, and distributes monthly reporting
- Documents and updates department procedures and processes in collaboration with Technical Writer to ensure company knowledge is easily transferable
- Provides solutions on integrations of systems and troubleshoots any related issues
- Ensures data practices meet compliance requirements
- Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes
HOURS:
This is a full-time 40 hour per week role working four ten-hour days Monday Thursday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm on-site in Bloomington, MN. Occasionally longer hours may be required.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of Information Technology experience
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science of related field
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Experience with Power BI

10+ years of Information Technology experience
