The Linux Systems Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for Linux-related projects, system integration, hardware/software installation, configuration management, and support of servers and workstations. This role involves troubleshooting, security hardening, automation, and monitoring system performance to maintain optimal functionality.

Overview
The Linux Systems Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for Linux-related projects, system integration, hardware/software installation, configuration management, and support of servers and workstations. This role involves troubleshooting, security hardening, automation, and monitoring system performance to maintain optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- System Integration & Configuration: Install, configure, and manage Linux servers and workstations to align with architectural requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and resolution for system-related issues and ensure seamless application support.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security hardening and access control measures to protect information and maintain compliance with security standards.
- Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, improving system efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously track system performance, supporting capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
- Software & Integration Support: Assist in software installation, maintenance, and ensuring compatibility across environments.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced Linux Skills & Application Support - Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
- Security Hardening & System Protection - Knowledge of security best practices, encryption methods, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Automation & Scripting - Expertise in automating tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
