Baer is looking for SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing Lead for a 12+ month remote project.
Title: SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing Lead
Location: Remote with occasional travel (once or twice a month) to Philadelphia or NY
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or Individual C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Description:

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing solutions, including configuring the system to handle complex billing scenarios such as subscription-based billing, usage-based billing, and bundled pricing.
• Configure SAP BRIM to consolidate charges from multiple sources into a single customer invoice, ensuring data accuracy and efficient processing.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate Convergent Invoicing with other SAP modules like Subscription Order Management (SOM) and Convergent Charging (CC), as well as third-party systems.
• Apply deep expertise in billing processes to handle complex scenarios and support businesses in their revenue management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and revenue recognition principles.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Convergent Invoicing configurations, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Work closely with business teams, functional consultants, and technical architects to gather requirements and deliver scalable, business-driven solutions.
• Create detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure smooth handover and knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) module, with particular expertise in Convergent Invoicing functionality, including configuration options, data structures, and integration points.
• Strong understanding of complex billing scenarios such as subscription-based billing, usage-based billing, and bundled pricing models.
• Familiarity with SAP ABAP for customizations, data mapping, and integration technologies to connect SAP BRIM with other systems and platforms.
• Experience integrating SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing with other SAP modules like Subscription Order Management (SOM) and Convergent Charging (CC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex billing issues and design effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.
