Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful execution of software projects in the transport industry. This role requires exceptional communication and leadership skills to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively. Leveraging expertise in cloud technologies, system architecture, and networking, the candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time and meet organizational objectives. This is a long-term contract position based in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end project management for software implementations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and maintain strong client relationships.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies to ensure smooth execution.
Provide technical guidance on system architecture, cloud databases, networking, and infrastructure during project lifecycles.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and resolve project roadblocks efficiently.
Facilitate responses to RFPs and ensure alignment with client expectations and technical capabilities.
Monitor project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Lead strategic planning sessions to align project objectives with organizational goals.
Act as a primary point of contact for client engagement, fostering trust and transparent communication.
Requirements
Proven experience in project management within the technology or transport sectors.
Strong technical expertise in cloud databases, system architecture, and core infrastructure.
Knowledge of networking principles and Active Directory (AD) systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relations and respond effectively to RFPs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with strategic planning and aligning projects with business objectives.
