Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Scrum Master expertise to join our Capital Markets team. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile processes, gather and analyze business requirements, and bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions in the capital markets domain.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and requirements.
  • Act as a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Promote Agile best practices and ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and product owners to ensure clarity of requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct gap analyses, process modeling, and impact assessments related to capital markets operations and systems.
  • Support the development and testing of new features, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance standards.
  • Track project progress, identify risks or issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Assist in backlog grooming and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master in capital markets or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets products, trading platforms, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial data analysis, reporting tools, and market infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MiFID, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, etc.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle in a financial services environment.
