Merchandise Data Analyst

Summary:


The Merchandise Data Analyst is responsible for improving and maintaining the accuracy of merchandise categorization and product data across systems like Fusion and Brand Manager. The role involves hierarchy and status clean-up, attribute validation, assortment management, and coordination with teams such as Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Commercial. A key focus is on standardizing processes for item setup, lead time documentation, MOQ grouping, and improving data flow between systems to support efficient product lifecycle management.

This role require combination of Merchandise Categorization and System data clean up efforts, inclusive of the following

  • Hierarchy clean-up
  • Expertise in SAP Retail, including Article Master data management and integration of SAP Retail with Hybris
  • Style/Collection/Digital Accessory attribute assessment
  • Live assortment clean-up in Fusion and Brand Manager
  • Status Clean-up and validation (DD/DC/Active)

Define ongoing process for item listing maintenance.

  • Presentation minimum reconciliation in partnership with VM
  • Transportation and Allocation lead time mapping in partnership with Supply

Production times ONLY reside in Brand Manager today

Lead times ONLY reside in Fusion/S4 today

Allocation timings are not yet documented

  • Supplier Closure timings & impact to order Schedules need to be documented in partnership with Commercial/Vendor Liaison
  • MOQ Cleanup and order coordination grouping assignment(* apparel Shared MOQs cross-over various Styles)
