The Sr. Business Admin/Analyst is responsible for overseeing day-to-day information technology activities, specifically those that pertain to Ready Mix Concrete operations. This position involves but is not limited to, the analysis, design and estimation of workflow and project management for Business system-related activities, product support and coordination with team members on project development.

Job Description
The Sr. Business Admin/Analyst is responsible for overseeing day-to-day information technology activities, specifically those that pertain to Ready Mix Concrete operations. This position involves but is not limited to, the analysis, design and estimation of workflow and project management for Business system-related activities, product support and coordination with team members on project development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge in critical business systems used to support the operational needs of the business such as COMMANDseries, batch systems, 5 Cubits, TrackIt, COMMANDqc and related Command Alkon products.
- Implement business software and provide systems administration set-up and configuration.
- Provide documentation of business rules, functional specifications, and process interpretation for assigned applications, systems, and business solutions.
- Interface with software vendors and suppliers in support of business application software packages
- Design and create production and ad hoc reports
- Responds to telephone calls, e-mails and personal requests for end-user technical support, and provides resolutions in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Tracks and monitors solutions to ensure problem resolution.
- Updates ticket system/workflow for the department and assists with project management as required.
- Supports and maintains user account information including permissions, security and system groups.
- Monitors, maintains and ensures reliable database/system backups and restorations.
- Assists with various projects as necessary.
- Provide after-hours support as needed
- Other duties as required.
Required Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7-15 years of experience in the I.T. industry, with at least 5-10 years of Ready Mix Concrete operations support.
- Strong customer service and technical skills.
- Very strong communications skills and analytical aptitude.
- Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Microsoft software and associated hardware products including a working knowledge of Windows based Servers, Citrix, Microsoft Office, Backup Technologies.
- Knowledge and experience with the construction materials industry, bulk hauling industry or the energy sector.
Pay & Benefits Summary
- Competitive base salary between $120,000-$125,000/yr, depending on experience
