Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires leveraging a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Pay Range: $55 - $60
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Build data pipelines using big-data stack technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, and Python.
- Work with Amazon AWS S3 for object storage, security, and data service integration.
- Perform data modeling and database design.
- Utilize job schedulers like Autosys for workflow automation.
- Work with tools such as PowerBI and Dremio for data visualization and analysis.
- Develop Unix/shell scripts and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply logic to transform data and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to design and model data pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with technical and functional requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- Proficiency in big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, and Python.
- Experience with Amazon AWS S3 and data service integration.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design (e.g., MySQL or other standard databases).
- Hands-on experience with job schedulers like Autosys.
- Familiarity with Unix/shell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform cloud data engineering is a plus.
- Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively.
