Your Opportunity

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to infrastructure projects which may include renewable energy systems, parks, marinas/boatyards, roadways, transportation facilities, site development projects, rail projects, ITS/traffic signal systems and electrical infrastructure design. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken electrical engineering type courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support several exciting local projects. This internship is for Summer 2025 (June through August) in our New York City or Rochelle Park, NJ office.

Your Key Responsibilities

Prepare basic deliverables and documents including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Examine field conditions as required to support development and completion of projects.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Design tasks will include lighting design, energy code compliance, lighting/power circuiting design, construction cost estimating, and CAD drafting.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Enrolled in a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering program from an accredited institution.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation and/or BIM/REVIT is a plus.
Strong communication skills.

Education and Experience

Enrolled in a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering program from an accredited institution.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
