Technical Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Pleasanton, CA.

Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in cloud infrastructure projects to join a high-impact, fast-paced team. This individual must be well-versed in cloud terminology (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), capable of collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Project Manager will lead and manage end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment
* Work closely with Engineering Leaders to ensure technical teams are aligned and progressing toward milestones
* Partner with stakeholders to define priorities, track deliverables, and keep everyone accountable
* Drive execution and ensure timelines are met, while managing risks and dependencies
* Own and monitor action items, ensuring continuous momentum
* Maintain oversight of timecards, project budget, and resource allocation
* Provide clear, consistent communication across all levels of the organization
* As a Technical Project Manager, you will ensure adherence to project governance and reporting processes
* Be onsite 2 times per week for face-to-face collaboration and alignment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
* 10+ years of project management experience, ideally within cloud infrastructure or IT
* Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-related terminology
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and align multiple teams under tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Hands-on experience with project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project)
* Experience working with budgets and resource time tracking
* Ability to operate autonomously and drive initiatives with minimal supervision

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
