The New Banking Architecture (NBA) Delivery Platform team team is responsible for key technology products that enable Chase businesses. This includes Photon, a microservices framework and platform, that supports security, controls, event streaming, messaging, data stores, and governance, while accelerating cloud native computing practices. Photon is widely adopted across Chase lines of business, enabling thousands of developers to build highly scalable, micro-service based autonomous systems with operational visibility and metrics.

As a Product Manager in the New Banking Architecture (NBA) Delivery Platform team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

This individual works closely with peers, stakeholders, and teams across Consumer & Community Banking and Global Technology to influence, create alignment, and develop plans to achieve the vision. The leader actively engages in delivering rapid innovation, modernizing applications and development lifecycles, and accelerating migration to the public cloud.

Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Serves as the "voice of the customer" to one or more product delivery teams
  • Understands and translates business requirements into initiatives, epics that directly support the organization's initiatives
  • Collaborates with engineering, architecture, design, and stakeholders to shape product roadmap that reflects the outcomes and key results set by the business
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communication, specifically in translating technical Framework related concepts to a broad audience
  • Development background with knowledge on building distributed systems and framework/platform mindset (Java, SpringBoot and Microservices)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field such as in product management, project management, or related roles
  • Experience delivering software on a large-scale distributed computing system; experience in Frameworks and Cloud Platforms a plus
  • Experience developing/enhancing a product that primarily serves software engineers
