Job Description:

The Cyber Data and Analytics (CDA) Platform team is building a hybrid cloud native security platform that will provide modern routing capabilities, existing log management, and lakehouse technologies.

The platform will serve a variety of cyber-data use cases including Security Threat Detection, Insider Threat, Cyber Data Science and Analytics, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting, Log Telemetry Monitoring, and enterprise level observability solutions.

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for someone to participate in defining the future of our Cyber Data Platform and be a part of a team that will be shaping an exciting array of Cyber Product Solutions - from self-serve analytics capabilities, behavioral intelligence algorithms, anomaly detection models, scalable data storage, and more. The CDA product dream team will empower you to have autonomy and support to make an impact, as we work together to build the platform for the long term.

We are looking for a technical product managers to help drive the platform build/expansion of Cribl and onboarding security logs from 5 distinct public cloud landing zones in AWS, Azure and OCI. You will collect, aggregate, and synthesize platform use cases, prioritize capabilities, and features to build that will serve all platform users.

The platforms product managers will be responsible for ensuring the platforms are functional and usable by data engineers, data scientists, and other end consumers.

You will need to have a birds eye view on all the data platform applications and components and predict the affect of building capability to the entire architecture as a whole/

A successful candidate is one who is technical and architecture driven. He should be a positive influencer across diverse teams, can operate in a complex environment, knows how to help drive consensus amongst deeply technical teams, can prioritize well, communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and have a consistent track record of delivery on complex program level roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will create the platform personas and use them to guide the platform future capabilities of the platform.
  • You will help set quarterly department-wide objectives and key results.
  • You will own and build the Cribl platforms, work with StateStreet product managers to define the product roadmap, including defining initiatives, milestones, and epics.
  • You will own the data onboarding workstream to onboard security logs from public cloud and infrastructure security logs for those applications hosted within the cloud.
  • You will work with your pods leads to refine epics and stories, organize, and prioritize the backlog.
  • You will take an active part in all agile ceremonies across your development pods
  • MUST HAVE SKILLS: In addition to product/project management, you must have
    • Deep knowledge of public cloud and the CI/CD processes and technologies used for building platforms using infrastructure as code
    • Deep knowledge of security log data required for SIEM functions from public clouds
    • Past experience in managing large scale projects for building platforms in public clouds

Education and preferred qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management, focused on platforms build, data engineering or cloud architecture
  • 8+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a solution architect, data engineers, or related fields
  • 3+ years of technology and / or security domain experience
  • 3+ years of experience executing in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience building, owning, and delivering on product roadmaps.
  • Experience with dependency management
  • Experience in working with engineers from diverse teams and expertise.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions, strategy related to a product.
  • Proven experience communicating, representing, and evangelizing deep technical products and concepts to a variety of stakeholders, in a simple succinct form.
  • Experience working in a highly regulatory environment.
  • Deep knowledge of big data, data warehouse / data lake, data pipelines, ELT/ETL, Data Routing, streaming systems, cloud concepts,
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience with AWS, Azure and other cloud technologies
  • Good presentation skills
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or other technical field.
