Data Engineer
Location: Strongsville, OH or Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Roles and Responsibilities:
The position will be about 80% hands on data engineering and 20% innovation. Display an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance technology solution capabilities.
• Collaborates with Product owners, analysts to gather requirements and implement data solutions that meet business needs.
• Analyzes and evaluates requirements by working with users, product owners and management and provides recommendations on the scope and complexity of the solution.
• Writing and optimizing code for data pipelines ensuring systems are highly efficient, scalable, and capable of handling large-scale financial datasets.
• Build and optimize data architectures ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Proposes & designs data solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation.
• Acts as a lead by developing and documenting technical specifications for proposed solutions. This includes hands on coding and testing as well to support solutions.
• Participates in code reviews & overall testing.
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer who can demonstrate strong understanding of ETL, Database architecture and design, provide strategies to build scalable data systems, optimizing data pipelines and enabling data driven decision making.
Technical Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of data pipelines and ETL tool -Informatica
2. Intermediate to advanced level SQL, PL/SQL skills
3. Strong understanding of Databases- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle & Teradata
4. Proficient with code deployment tools such as Udeploy, Artifactory
