Job Title: Senior ETL Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with over 7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines and data integration workflows. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, and expertise in ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS, along with strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to support data integration from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.

  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust ETL solutions.

  • Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Monitor ETL jobs, perform troubleshooting, and resolve data quality issues.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to ETL architecture, workflows, and standards.

  • Implement best practices in data pipeline development, data governance, and security.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 7+ years of professional experience in ETL development and data integration.

  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Apache Nifi, or similar.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Platform Dataflow is a plus.

  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and BI/reporting tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Python, Spark, or other scripting languages for data transformation.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).

  • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
