Job Title: APIGEE Lead/Architect

Job Description:
Value Technology Seeking an experienced APIGEE Lead/Architect to design, develop, and manage APIs using Apigee Edge/ApigeeX. This role involves building reusable flows, ensuring API performance/security, and collaborating across teams for seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design/develop API proxies and shared flows (security, logging, error handling)
- Integrate APIs with enterprise apps
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and security
- Manage full API lifecycle (versioning, deprecation, retirement)
- Maintain API documentation and support materials
- Leverage analytics for API optimization
Required Skills:
- Expertise in in API development/management (Apigee Edge/ApigeeX)
- Expertise in REST/SOAP, OAuth, JWT, TLS
- Proficient in Postman, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sumologic
- Strong in Apigee architecture, proxy creation, and mashup APIs (JavaScript)
- Experience with high availability, load balancing, and health checks
Preferred Skills:
- Microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Confluence
- Database knowledge (MySQL, MongoDB)
