Position Overview
We are seeking a Sr. ERP and CRM Systems Administrator to manage and support our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP system and assist in the administration and eventual transition into Salesforce CRM. This is a hands-on, senior-level position ideal for a self-starter who thrives in small teams and secure environments. You ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations, performing system upgrades, and helping transition systems to new platforms.
The ideal candidate is not a developer but a systems-focused professional who enjoys system administration, process documentation, and smart, security-first decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP system.
Perform upgrades and patching of Oracle EBS and ensure system stability and performance.
Support the customization and configuration of Oracle applications as needed (minimal development).
Transition legacy systems and processes to new platforms, including Salesforce CRM.
Learn and support Salesforce CRM administration; willingness to become Salesforce certified is required.
Collaborate with Finance, Security, and other business units to run reports, maintain integrations, and align system configurations with operational requirements.
Perform Linux OS administration tasks in support of ERP and CRM infrastructure.
Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with security policies and collaborate with the security team for patching and vulnerability mitigation.
Utilize Scrum and Kanban methodologies for project tracking and delivery.
Create and maintain thorough documentation of systems, processes, configurations, and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience administering Oracle EBS ERP systems.
Strong Linux systems administration experience.
Proficient in SQL for queries, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Experience with or willingness to learn and become certified in Salesforce CRM.
Familiar with Linux shell scripting (Bash) and/or Python for automation tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience working in secure environments with a strong understanding of security best practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
Excellent documentation skills and adherence to process-driven work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Salesforce administration (permission sets, workflows, process builder, integrations).
Exposure to system migration or modernization projects.
Previous work with finance teams or finance-related systems/reporting.
Salesforce Admin Certification or other relevant credentials (or willingness to achieve within the first year).
