Must Have Skills
13+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C Insurance domain
Hands-on experience with Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
In-depth understanding of Personal Auto, Watercraft, and Umbrella Insurance lines
Strong knowledge of business process modeling, use case development, and requirement traceability
Experience in supporting SIT/UAT testing phases and working closely with QA teams
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 13+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain, specializing in Personal Auto, Watercraft, and Umbrella (both Personal and Commercial) lines of business.
The candidate will be responsible for driving requirement management, bridging communication between business and technical teams, and ensuring functional validation of Guidewire implementations through structured QA support
Requirement Management:
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of requirements including elicitation, documentation, validation, and change control specifically for Guidewire modules.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, and technical teams to ensure business needs are clearly captured and understood.
Solution Alignment:
Translate and validate business requirements into Guidewire system functionalities, ensuring alignment with product capabilities.
Business Process Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analysis of current insurance workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend enhancements that align with Guidewire best practices.
Test Support & Validation:
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage for business requirements, participate in defect triage, and validate fixes from a business perspective.
Documentation & Traceability:
Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation such as BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and RTMs (Requirement Traceability Matrices).
Training & Change Management Support:
Assist in user training activities, change impact assessments, and contribute to user adoption efforts post Go-Live.
