Technical Program Manager (Data & AI Infrastructure)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our initiatives in developing and implementing advanced data and artificial intelligence infrastructure solutions, specifically focusing on auto-remediation projects using Generative AI on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen, strategic vision, and exceptional leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive program plans to achieve business objectives, aligning them with corporate strategy and industry best practices. Oversee the execution of these plans, ensuring deliverables are met within set timelines and budgets.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across multiple departments, including data engineering, AI development, DevOps, and business units. Foster a culture of shared goals and open communication to drive program success.
  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact program outcomes. Develop contingency plans as needed to ensure programs stay on track despite unforeseen challenges.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between senior management, technology teams, and other stakeholders. Manage expectations, communicate progress, and gather feedback to inform continuous program improvement.
  5. Resource Allocation and Budget Oversight: Plan and manage resource allocation to ensure efficient use of human, technological, and financial assets. Monitor program budgets, controlling costs while maximizing value.
  6. Technology and Process Improvement: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, like Generative AI and Databricks, to enhance our data and AI capabilities. Lead efforts to refine and streamline program-related processes.
  7. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success. Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, detailing progress, achievements, and areas requiring attention.
  8. Talent Development and Team Leadership: Mentor team members, fostering professional growth and skill development. Lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive work environment conducive to high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role, preferably within the technology or data management sectors.
  • Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of data management principles, AI technologies, and cloud platforms like Databricks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in agile project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in risk management, resource allocation, and budget oversight.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus
