- Primary Skill: Starburst Data Engineer, Starburst Presto, Data Mesh using Starburst, SQL, cloud services and APIs.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Experience in sufficient to perform the key accountabilities of the job required below:
Experience with Query Federation solutions-Starburst Presto, Hands-on experience building Data Mesh using Starburst.
- Design and maintain data pipelines using Starburst and related technologies.
- Optimize query performance and resolve data processing bottlenecks.
- Manage databases to ensure high availability reliability and security.
- Integrate Starburst with various data sources including cloud services and APIs.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Collaborate with data scientists analysts and stakeholders on data requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for data processes.
- Stay current with data engineering advancements and propose innovative solutions.
- Implement best practices for data quality assurance and testing.
- Experience with Query Federation solutions-Starburst Presto, Hands-on experience building Data Mesh using Starburst.
- Assist in onboarding users by setting up connections, catalogs, and data consumption client tools.
- Address user queries and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and issue triage.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Innovate and contribute to the development of new automation tools and technologies.
