Location: Jersey City, NJ
Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $135,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to our exciting projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Automating data pipelines/transfers on cloud platforms (AWS) using technologies such as Spark, Python, and Shell Scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and efficient data processing.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Grafana and AppDynamics.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE work
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys.
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Grafana and AppDynamics (one of these is required).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty).
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
