Description:
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to our exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Automating data pipelines/transfers on cloud platforms (AWS) using technologies such as Spark, Python, and Shell Scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and efficient data processing.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Grafana and AppDynamics.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE work
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Shell Scripting.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Grafana and AppDynamics (one of these is required).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty).
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
