Job Details
Looking for a SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR with the following qualifications to successfully carry out the essential functions of this role:
- Assess and interpret user requests to determine feasibility within given timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and manage project plans aligned with the expectations of both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH regulations, ensuring all IT systems are compliant with relevant legal standards.
- Oversee system and data updates, conducting thorough testing and collaborating with Quality Assurance and Training teams to ensure updates are accurately documented and implemented.
- Create, revise, and maintain system design specifications, testing protocols, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with the Privacy Officer and senior leadership to ensure systems and practices comply with all privacy and legal requirements.
- Coordinate the rollout and installation of new software applications and systems.
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure effective use of IT systems.
- Lead end-user support efforts to deliver timely, high-quality assistance for infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT systems.
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings, conferences, and discussions to stay aligned with strategic goals.
- Ensure consistent adherence to technology platform requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Address network performance and security concerns, proactively mitigating risks.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility to respond to urgent infrastructure issues as they arise.
- Accurately document all modifications to systems and processes in line with organizational change control policies.
- Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity trends and serve as a resource for industry best practices.
- Contribute to the review and assessment of new technologies and their potential organizational impact.
- Foster productive partnerships between business units and the IT department to enhance solution development and implementation.
- Attend relevant industry conferences and training sessions to maintain professional expertise.
- Execute all responsibilities with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and best practices.
- Remain open and adaptable to changing schedules and priorities based on organizational needs.

- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership.
Education & Experience
- Solid technical understanding of network infrastructure and associated hardware.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH regulatory standards as they relate to IT systems and data security.
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in networking, systems administration, or hardware support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
