Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Administrator / Local IT Manager who can independently manage the organization s complete IT setup and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with server infrastructure, virtualization, networking, endpoint support, and cloud-based services. This role demands strong technical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors effectively.
A valid Indian passport and a U.S. visa (business or work) are mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Administer server infrastructure and virtualization environments (VMware).
- Configure and support LAN/WAN networks, firewalls (Fortinet), and overall network infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain the security and availability of all IT systems and services.
- Provide endpoint support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Manage Azure Active Directory, DHCP, and related cloud-based services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related support requests and incidents.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems and applications.
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of new IT hardware and software in accordance with business needs.
- Collaborate with external vendors, service providers, and ISPs to resolve issues and manage third-party services.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT procedures, network diagrams, and asset inventories.
Technical Skills & Tools:
- Server Infrastructure Management
- Virtualization Platforms: VMware
- Firewall & Network Devices: Fortinet (preferred), Cisco, or similar
- Network Infrastructure Support: LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, IP management
- Endpoint Support: Windows, Office 365, hardware troubleshooting
- Cloud Services: Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SharePoint
- Security Monitoring: Endpoint protection, firewall logs, patch management
- IT Hardware & Software Deployment: Imaging, installation, and configuration
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT support or network/system administration.
