Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Bronx, New York. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will provide technical assistance and ensure smooth functionality of desktop systems and related technologies. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop systems, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues.
Manage Active Directory accounts, including creation, modification, and troubleshooting.
Oversee asset management processes to track and maintain IT equipment inventory.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate reports and analyze data for system performance.
Assist with the deployment and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
Respond to user inquiries regarding technical issues, offering clear and efficient solutions.
Collaborate with team members to implement updates and upgrades to desktop systems.
Maintain documentation of IT support procedures and resolutions for future reference.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and security protocols when handling technology.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on support activities.

Requirements

Experience in providing desktop support in an environment that requires attention to detail.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory accounts and related tasks.
Knowledge of asset management practices for IT equipment.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Familiarity with computer hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Effective communication skills to interact with users and team members.
Ability to work independently and solve technical issues promptly.
