Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for a onsite role based in Ocoee, FL. This position involves strategic planning, design, and optimization of network infrastructure, using cutting-edge technologies to develop effective network solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement network solutions using copper, fiber, and wireless infrastructure
  • Translate business needs into effective network architecture, recommending hardware and software
  • Manage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and wireless access points
  • Evaluate and recommend new products, staying updated on emerging technologies
  • Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and suggest improvements
  • Troubleshoot network issues and devise resolution protocols
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives as a Project Leader
  • Travel to remote locations as required
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation

What You'll Need

  • Cisco certifications in Network Professional, Design Professional, Security Professional, and Voice Professional domains
  • Expertise in network infrastructure, including DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology
  • Extensive experience with HPE/Aruba Switching products
  • Knowledge of the OSI model and data flow
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with enterprise networking hardware and cloud networking
  • Proficiency in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor's Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
