Product Manager (Healthcare Tech required)
Success Measures:
In 3 months:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of our products and broader platforms.
- Achieve familiarity with our SDLC policies and procedures.
- Establish credibility with key stakeholders.
- Manage the sprint planning process, with support.
- Report our velocity, costs and quality trends of team.
In 6 months:
- Independently manage the spring planning process and offer strong support to the
implementation team on client specific projects. - Provide ongoing active contribution to methodology and process for project management.
- Be recognized by key stakeholders as committed, disciplined, self-motivated and self-
organizing.
In 12 months:
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives in project management and work delivery.
- Be sought after for expertise on project management principles and the work delivery
process. - Develop a robust velocity and throughput tracking mechanism to improve project timeline
projections and capacity planning.
Responsibilities:
- Actively plan and manage Agile projects in accordance with the project lifecycle, including Jira
workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Agile ceremonies. - Serve as Scrum Master (or monitor current Scrum Master) for cross functional project teams to
ensure that the members are set up to successfully meet all prerequisites and project plans are
accurately effort-based - Utilize industry standards such as the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and various Agile
techniques to keep the project team(s) aligned, ensuring all work/tasks are trackable to report out
to CTO and other Executive Leaders - Prepare key documents for presentation to executives and produce other reports as needed while
collaborating with stakeholders to bring projects through initiation to closure - Identify project risks and/or issues and work with your Project Teams and/or CTO to help mitigate
the problem(s) in an effort to keep projects on track to completion - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with client requirements
and company objectives to develop accurate effort-based project plans. - Project plans to be based upon deep collaboration with leaders in other functions across client
success, engineering, product, IT etc. inclusive of standard processes/documentation, practices,
minimum standards and templates to support product led development in support of project
execution. - Partner cross functionally to ensure alignment on project deliverables, metrics, and timelines.
- Utilize Jira to establish metrics and dashboards, to track and communicate project metrics, such
as velocity, lead time, cycle time, queue depth, etc. to identify areas for improvement, foster data
driven decision-making and inform stakeholders about status - Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and
ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. - Serve as an escalation point for issues and risks, working closely with stakeholders in the event
that an escalation does occur and updating status appropriately.
Position Requirements:
- 2-5 years of related Project Management experience in SaaS technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven results delivering projects in Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience designing and restructuring processes in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Exposure to AWS products, including S3, EC2, Redshift, etc.
- Proficient in project management and planning tools utilizing Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
- Proven capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interacting with C-suite.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of healthcare data and technology systems.
- Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP).
- Expertise in project cost accounting and FinOps
- Start-up experience.
- Experience collaborating effectively with a hybrid and/or fully remote team.
