Job Description:-
As an Enterprise Architect, you'll be a key leader responsible for designing and governing scalable, efficient, and secure architectural solutions for a major player in the transportation and logistics sector. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution, translating complex concepts for both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders. With a deep understanding of railroad operations and a command of modern cloud and hybrid stacks, you will ensure our technological standards are robust, compliant, and aligned with our strategic vision, driving large-scale business transformations.
Responsibilities:-
- Design, govern, and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient architectural solutions for complex, cross-domain business problems.
- Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical ideas into clear, digestible concepts to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Ensure products within your domain are scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable, adhering to organizational and industry standards.
- Develop and enforce reference architectures, standards, and guidelines to ensure the organization's technology is safe, secure, stable, and compliant.
- Apply deep industry knowledge of the services/transportation/rail sector, with a specific understanding of operational workflows such as dispatch, scheduling, movement planning, and asset management.
- Utilize expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), hybrid stacks, data-driven solutions, DevOps, and continuous delivery to drive technological innovation.
Qualifications:-
- A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data and Intelligence, or a related field, along with 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience successfully directing complex, large-scale architecture initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, lines of business, and highly regulated environments.
- Prior experience as an architect for enterprises with revenues of $500M+ or more, providing vision and making critical platform decisions to scale for future initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent architecture engagements, effectively planning and leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve key results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in an integrated team environment and a self-motivated mindset.
