Job Details

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the endtoend sales cycle, expanding the customer base, and building longterm client relationships. The role combines team leadership with handson business development to identify new markets, close strategic deals, and achieve aggressive sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and annual/quarterly plans to achieve revenue, margin, and new customer acquisition targets.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, events, and digital channels, with a focus on mid to largesized accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, needs analysis, solution presentation, proposal/quotation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with key decisionmakers and stakeholders at existing and prospective clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team; set KPIs, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align gotomarket plans, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategy.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and management dashboards; track and report on sales performance vs. targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, and compliance requirements during negotiations and contract execution.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • 5 10 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 3 years in a role combining sales and business development.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and successfully opening new accounts/markets.
  • Experience selling products (specify: software/SaaS, industrial products, consumer goods, etc.) and managing medium to long sales cycles.

  • Strong business development skills: opportunity identification, networking, relationship building, and strategic account penetration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen; comfortable with sales metrics, forecasting, and CRM usage.
  • Leadership ability to build, manage, and motivate a resultsoriented sales team.
  • High level of ownership, resilience, and drive in a targetdriven environment.
