Job Title: Business Systems Analyst / Data Analyst
Experience: 10+ Years
Location: Texas (Onsite/Hybrid State Client)
Duration: Long Term

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Data Analyst to support a large-scale Medicaid system modernization project for a Texas state client. The candidate will analyze business systems, gather requirements, work closely with IT teams and vendors, and support application enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs

  • Gather and document business and functional requirements

  • Perform business process mapping and reengineering

  • Analyze raw data and provide actionable insights

  • Support project/product oversight for Medicaid IT systems

  • Coordinate with business users, IT teams, and MES vendors

  • Prepare solution options, risk analysis, and cost/benefit documentation

  • Work in an Agile / SAFe environment

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years as Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst

  • Strong Data Analysis experience

  • Business process reengineering & documentation

  • Stakeholder management and liaison experience

  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Agile / SAFe experience

  • Texas HHSC, Medicaid, or CHIP experience

  • Project Management / PMP (plus)
