Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Payrate: $60.00 - $67.70/hr
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across the enterprise. This role combines strong project management expertise with technical analysis capabilities to ensure successful delivery of strategic projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive projects from inception to completion while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications (Must have)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience.
5+ years of experience in IT project management.
Proven experience in large-scale enterprise environments (Financial Services or similar highly regulated industry experience preferred).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and infrastructure.
Desired Qualifications (Nice to have)
PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
Familiarity with architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and enterprise architecture concepts.
Experience with modern DevOps practices.
Experience managing Citizen Led or End User Development environments
Project Management: Agile, Waterfall, hybrid methodologies.
Technical Analysis: Ability to interpret technical requirements, perform impact analysis, and translate into actionable plans.
Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project), and collaboration platforms.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Leadership: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with ability to resolve conflicts and mitigate risks
