Network Engineer

DSA has an opening at Fort Cavazos, TX for a Network Engineer supporting Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF). The engineer will provide communications engineering expertise to CTSF in support of designing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring the integrity of the Test Floor Network and, as necessary, external communications circuits that provide connectivity to Materiel Developer labs and / or Federation of Net-Centric Sites (FaNS) test facilities. This support includes providing technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, C5ISR systems, architecture development and implementation, network analysis, and network operations. Install, configure, and maintain the organization s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems, and install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.

Required Qualifications:

* SECRET Clearance and SSBI/T5 investigation

* HS or higher

* CompTIA Security + certification

* 2+ years exp in network engineering

* proficiency in CISCO computer environment

* CompTIA Security + certification
