Job Details

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Python & Airflow

Location: Philadelphia PA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Python and hands-on experience in Apache Airflow. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an Agile environment, able to take initiative, and lead workstreams with minimal guidance. SQL experience is preferred, and full stack development skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Airflow.
  • Develop and optimize applications and services primarily in Python.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile setting.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong professional experience with Python.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Airflow (required).
  • Proficiency in SQL (preferred).
  • Exposure to full stack development (a plus, but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
