UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative designs, layouts, and graphics, while considering usability and user experience (UX) principles.
• Collaborate with Creative Director, clients, or project managers to understand design requirements, objectives, and target audience.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Design and produce visual elements such as logos, banners, icons, buttons, and other graphical assets for web applications.
• Select appropriate color schemes, typography, and imagery to enhance the visual appeal of digital applications.
• Ensure design consistency and maintain brand identity across all web assets.
• Optimize graphics and images for delivery, considering file size and loading speed.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies related to design.
• As needed, collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into final deliverables.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve designs and user experience.
• Make necessary revisions and modifications to designs based on feedback, scope, and requirements.
• Gather key messaging points for each project and ensure that all concepts convey the right information.
• As needed, assist in generating creative engaging copy for branding, pitches, narratives, and scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts, UX/UI Design, Graphic Design or a related field, or significant equivalent job experience.
• Proven experience as a Digital Designer, Graphic Designer or a similar role, with a compelling portfolio showcasing design projects.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and similar software.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices in design.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity and interest with design frameworks and content management systems (CMS). Experience using Elementor required. Experience using WordPress is preferred.
• Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail, color, typography, and composition.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas.
• Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing design requirements.
• Able to generate thoughtful and engaging concepts that go beyond 1-to-1 representation.
• The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from our Creative Director in your work.
• Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving, market driven environment.
• Proven to be teachable.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Previous experience using generative AI fundamentals and 3D design capabilities are preferred.
