Job Title: Business Analyst Financial Systems
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid)
Duration: 18-month contract
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with strong experience in Financial Systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring our financial systems effectively support key business processes and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, document, and refine business processes related to financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, and implementations.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to design, test, and deploy system solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans; manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate end-user training.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and financial system upgrades as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, process flows, user manuals, and training materials.
- Serve as the point of contact for financial system-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and user support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with direct involvement in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, Workday Financials, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, etc.).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proven experience with requirements gathering, business process mapping, and system testing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL a plus).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
