Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Level 1 Helpdesk Support professional to join our IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our users, providing prompt assistance with technical issues and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will troubleshoot problems, resolve basic issues, and escalate more complex challenges when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely manner.
Provide basic technical support for common hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Log, monitor, and track support tickets using our helpdesk system.
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams following established procedures.
Educate users on basic troubleshooting steps and best practices.
Document solutions and update knowledge base articles.
Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with common operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and office productivity software.
Previous experience in a technical support or helpdesk role is a plus.
