RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in West Des Moines, IA that is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Engineer who will drive cross-functional technical initiatives and deliver Salesforce-powered business outcomes at scale. As an IT Solutions Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging architecture and delivery, ensuring seamless coordination, high-quality solutions, and a strong data foundation across multiple agile teams.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and coordinate technical collaboration across multiple agile teams, aligning solutions with business objectives
* Act as the primary liaison between enterprise architecture and development teams
* Design and manage deployment strategies, including impact and dependency analysis for Salesforce initiatives
* Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce features
* Ensure metadata consistency and maintain robust data architecture within Salesforce
* Guide the transition from project build to operational support, resolving issues and ensuring continuity
* Develop both declarative and Apex-based Salesforce solutions
* Meet operational SLAs for availability and production support
* Uphold development standards, quality, and risk mitigation across teams
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
* 12+ years of IT development experience or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience as a Technical Lead or Project Architect on complex, multi-system projects
* Deep Salesforce expertise, including Apex and declarative development (e.g., flows)
* Strong background in data architecture and relational databases
* Proven ability to coordinate large-scale, multi-team technical efforts
* Excellent communication skills with both business and technical audiences
* Experience delivering Proofs of Concept and translating them into production-ready solutions
* Ability to lead without direct HR responsibility, guiding team members toward successful outcomes
Preferred Experience:
* Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Service Cloud
* Integration experience with MuleSoft and/or Confluent Kafka
* Familiarity with Platform Event Architecture
* Background in DevOps practices and tooling
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
