Job Details

Position: DevOps Engineer
Contract: W2 Only

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.

  • Collaborate with software development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery and improve system reliability.

  • Manage infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application performance and uptime.

  • Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) to deploy and manage scalable infrastructure.

  • Implement infrastructure security, access control, and compliance best practices.

  • Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, network, and application layers.

  • Support automation of operational tasks, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

  • Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Groovy, or PowerShell).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch).

  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, VPCs).

  • Experience managing source control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

  • Understanding of security best practices, identity management, and role-based access control.

Nice-to-Have

  • Certification in AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or Google Cloud Platform Professional DevOps Engineer.

  • Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).

  • Experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, SaltStack).

  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).

  • Knowledge of performance tuning, cost optimization, and autoscaling in cloud environments.

  • Experience integrating DevSecOps practices into pipelines.
