Job Description:
- The IFS Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing end-user support, maintaining system performance, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance with audit and SOX control requirements.
- The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, maintain system documentation, and enhance user experience through training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for end users, providing guidance, resolving inquiries, and ensuring effective use of the IFS system through training and documentation.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding in compliance with audit procedures.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests while proactively addressing recurring issues.
- Prepare evidence and summaries for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual SOX controls in a timely manner.
- Support technical environment maintenance, monitor system performance, and manage non-production environment refreshes.
- Contribute to and maintain a shared knowledge base, document procedures, and create user guides.
- Collaborate with technical teams, internal project teams, and external partners to resolve complex issues.
- Deliver user training and develop comprehensive training materials.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in IFS functionalities, code base, and troubleshooting across front-end, service layer, and backend databases.
- Track and report issues and provide data analysis for problem resolution.
- 7+ years of strong hands-on experience with IFS ERP, preferably with IFS Apps 7.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional IFS-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user and technical team interactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Service Request, Change, and Problem Management.
- Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle and experience running update scripts.
- Strong understanding of how IFS supports business operations in manufacturing environments, including modules like Finance or Supply Chain.
- Business expertise in manufacturing processes such as Discrete Manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, Shop Floor Reporting, Material and Resource Planning.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Experience using Crystal Reports and Power BI for custom report creation.
- Experience with IFS DOP functionality.
- Understanding of standard and actual costing and their implications within the system.
