Overview

We are seeking a full-time Engineering Applications Administrator 1 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing basic administrationand support for software engineering applications (tools).

Essential Functions
  • Provide basic administrative support for software engineering applications such as software configuration management, issue tracking, and other software development related applications
  • Provide basic triage to incoming user requests to ensure they contain accurate/complete information, are classified and categorized, and handle basic requests or assign to other team members
  • Provide basic assistance in evaluating, integrating, administrating, upgrading and supporting new software engineering applications as needed
  • Apply design standards and procedures using appropriate engineering tools to document and implement basic designs in an organized manner

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
  • Must demonstrate knowledge, education, experience and/or training necessary to provide basic support for software engineering applications
  • Demonstrate a proficient ability to work directly with users and understand their needs

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, or other related web technologies
  • Experience in software engineering applications management
  • Experience with Atlassian's JIRA and Confluence applications
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
