In this role, you will consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer (SE4) with a strong background in AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud-native development. In this role, you will consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve multifaceted challenges and deliver impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation on large-scale software engineering projects with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges involving multiple variables and novel scenarios.
- Design and implement scalable APIs and cloud-native architectures for AI/ML applications.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent (including consulting, military, or academic experience).
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
- 3+ years of experience working with GPU clusters for AI/ML workloads.
- 2+ years of experience with Large Language Models (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral).
- 2+ years of experience with Apache Iceberg or similar data lake technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark (PySpark), FastAPI, Unicorn, Swagger, and Django.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with multi-GPU training and distributed computing frameworks such as:
- TensorFlow Distributed
- PyTorch Distributed
- Horovod
- Expertise in configuring and managing NVIDIA GPUs and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) resources (e.g., TPUs, GPU instances).
- Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and deployment of models in production environments.
- Languages & Frameworks: Python, FastAPI, Django, PySpark
- AI/ML Tools: LLaMA, Mistral, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Horovod
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, NVIDIA GPUs, TPUs
- Data & Streaming: Apache Kafka, Apache Iceberg
