Description

We are looking for a motivated Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Lake Bluff, Illinois. In this role, you will provide technical support to ensure smooth operations of desktops, laptops, networks, and related systems for our clients. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong customer-focused approach, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network systems.
Provide support for proprietary systems and software, ensuring timely issue resolution.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, and network printers.
Manage Active Directory accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls.
Offer telephone and deskside support to address user concerns effectively.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Drive to client locations to provide on-site support when required.
Document technical issues and resolutions to maintain accurate records of service calls.
Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
Stay updated on new technologies and tools to enhance support capabilities.

Requirements

At least 1-2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, networks, and servers in a detail-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Windows and Office Suite.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Citrix technologies, and network printers.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
A minimum of two years of college education; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
