Lead Adobe Architect (Marketo Engage & Workfront Expert)

Dallas, TX - Hybrid working

We are seeking a highly seasoned Lead Adobe Architect to define, design, and execute the enterprise-level architecture for Adobe Marketo Engage and Adobe Workfront. This visionary leader will be responsible for creating seamless integrations and operational excellence across both platforms. This senior role d emands deep technical expertise to translate complex business strategies into a resilient, high-performing, and unified operational architecture.
Key Responsibilities & Required Experience Depth
Integrated Platform Architecture
Experience Required: 12+ years of designing multi-platform architectures, including at least 6+ years of direct experience linking Marketing Automation (MAP) with Work Management (WM) systems.
Detailed Expectation: Proven track record of designing "North Star" blueprints for organizations with $1B+ revenue, ensuring that project intake in Workfront translates into automated campaign shells in Marketo without manual data re-entry.

Technical Governance & Standards
Experience Required: 10+ years in a Lead or Principal Architect capacity establishing Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks.
Detailed Expectation: Experience creating global governance playbooks that manage instance syncs, workspace partitions in Marketo, and enterprise-wide object sharing rules in Workfront to ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance and data security.

Integration Strategy & Execution
Experience Required: 15+ years of experience with middleware (MuleSoft, Workato, or Fusion) and API management (REST/SOAP).
Detailed Expectation: Extensive experience architecting bidirectional syncs between Marketo, Workfront, and Salesforce (CRM). Must have led at least 3 major enterprise-scale integrations involving complex data mapping, custom middleware logic, and high-volume API throughput management.
Workflow & Process Optimization
Experience Required: 8+ years of hands-on Business Process Re-engineering (BPR).
Detailed Expectation: Expert-level experience in architecting "Content Supply Chain" workflows. You must have designed automated handoffs where a Workfront project approval triggers the creation of Marketo assets (emails, landing pages) via APIs or Workfront Fusion.
Performance & Scalability Optimization
Experience Required: 10+ years managing high-concurrency systems and database performance.
Detailed Expectation: Experience troubleshooting "race conditions" in Marketo syncs and optimizing Workfront resource grid performance for teams of 2,000+ users. Must have experience conducting system audits to reduce technical debt and API call latency.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
Experience Required: 7+ years of direct experience leading matrixed teams of developers and admins.
Detailed Expectation: Proven ability to mentor Senior Admins into Architects. Experience leading "Architectural Review Boards" (ARB) to vet custom code, scripts, and configuration changes before deployment.

Strategic Roadmapping
Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in a C-suite advisory or Principal Consulting role.
Detailed Expectation: Experience presenting 3-year "MarTech Maturity" roadmaps to CIOs/CMOs. This includes justifying ROI for new modules (e.g., Marketo Sky, Workfront Planning) and sunsetting legacy systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Master s or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
Technical Proficiency (Mandatory):
Adobe Marketo Engage: Expert knowledge of Lead Scoring models, Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA), and Velocity Scripting.

Adobe Workfront: Mastery of Workfront Fusion, Enhanced Analytics, and Resource Management.

Development: Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and Python for custom integration scripts.
Certifications:
Adobe Certified Master Marketo Engage Architect (Active certification required).
Adobe Workfront Certified Professional/Expert (Required).
TOGAF 9.2 or AWS/Azure Solution Architect (Highly preferred).
